I paid the second fee and my phone was unlocked in a matter of minutes but iphone can take up to 24 hrs. They then send you a confirmation email stating that your phone is eligible and then you must remit a second payment of $42 to officially have them unlock. This is administrative for them to check the databases and make sure your phone is elligible for unlock (not stolen or fraudulent and that you're past your network providers minimum day requirement for unlocking which for me on Verizon was 60 days but I already had the phone for well over a year and was clearly past it). While the site could make the payments a lot more obvious, there is the initial $30 or so fee you pay. You may see a lot of negative reviews around the internet but this stems from a lack of reading and understanding.

Make sure to read and understand service and costs. I really do hope it will work.even though I have lost soo much time, dont even care about the money anymore, I will give a nice 5 stars if it works. Since whatever I say, wont get my money back, I will try to use the service with an old iPad I got, which I do personally own and can prove to see if actually works or they just do not do anything, period. Besides the fact that I got my comment removed from here, most probably reported by Appleiphoneunlock since I did choose to let them know about my issue and ask about a solution, they dont seem to work towards liberating your device more than simply taking your money. I got all the proof of payment and stuff, been waiting since the 16th of October. After first payment I get this message saying my device is not compatible but by purchasing a second service it is possible, so I paid again and I'm told everything is good as long as I make a third payment.just one last payment they say. I am giving it one star because I have used the service, paid 3 times as they requested.
